Mangakahia Road was redesiginated a State Highway earlier this year. Residents wanted to ask NZTA and members from the Northland Freight Group (NFG) questions about issues that concerned them. A joint presentation was made covering information about the road, maintenance and the background involving the NFG and its wide membership.

Following the presentation and question/answer time – ‘Bryan & Bobby’ a well established and widely respected & recognised team promoting injury prevention, community & road safety throughout New Zealand stepped up and presented with the popular ‘Seat-belt Click’ message.
