On Saturday the 7th September 2019 10am to 2pm a ‘Get Ride Ready Info Cube link’ promotion and display of motorcycles, safety gear, motorcycle riding instructors and emergency response staff will be on hand on the Canopy Bridge.

Road safety – including motorcycle safety is a priority for Northland road safety partners.  ‘Motorcycle Awareness Month’ in September starts with ‘Get Ride Ready’ a new event involving displays of motor bikes, safety equipment and opportunities to talk with emergency service personnel and Dr Chris Hurren a protective clothing safety rating expert (Motocap – Motorcycle Clothing Assessment Programme).

Your local favourite motorcycle dealers will also be in attendance with a selection of motorcycles and equipment on display. There will be staff that can talk to you about your motorcycle and safety equipment needs.

Experienced staff will also be on hand to offer a quick ’10 Point’ safety check of your motorcycle –
